The Physics Department at KMUTT carries out a wide range of experimental and theoretical research which is supported by industrial supporters and government funding.

The theoretical and computational physics cover molecular modeling, charges transportation in advanced materials, plasma physics, nuclear fusion and quantum information.

The Experimental physics includes optics, material research, nuclear physics, medical physics, thin film and nanomaterial. The department also has various fabrication and characterization facilities available for a researcher and Industrial services.
